McCathay Timber, Inc is a family owned import/export business that is operated by two brothers, Dan and Ken Roach.  McCathay Timber has been in business over 20 years.  After working with their father, who owned and operated McCausey Lumber for over 50 years, Dan and Ken set up McCathay Timber’s Corporate office in Chicago, Illinois.

 

Today, McCathay Timber is a leading importer and supplier of European Veneer, specializing in White Birch.  The company continues to grow  to include other species; including Beech; as well as plywood from a variety of European countries.

 

In 2007 McCathay Timber moved their corporate office to a newly rehabbed loft building in Chicago and have warehouses located on both the east and west coast as well as in Canada.
