Terms and Conditions for Purchases and Payment

McCathay Timber, Inc. guarantees its products equal or exceed the national accepted standards or specifications under which they are offered.

Terms of Sale – to accounts with approved credit rating:

- Payment is due within 10 days of the invoice date

- Otherwise, a 1.5% finance charge will be added to invoices past due over thirty (30) days.  This is equivalent to 18% per year.

- McCathay retains title to all property until such time as the invoice is completely paid.

- All prices are FOB our warehouse.

Ordering Instructions  -  On all orders please include the following:

- Bill to -  Company name and complete mailing address

- Ship to – Company name and complete shipping address

- All necessary specifications for every item ordered

Receipt of McCathay Merchandise

- Check your shipment carefully at time of delivery.  Please ask carrier’s agent to clearly note any loss or damage on the original freight bill before signing for material.

- All returns must be authorized in advance by McCathay Timber within thirty (30) days of receipt of material and must be the same widths and lengths as when delivered.

- Any concealed damage of merchandise shipped via common carrier must be reported to McCathay Timber with 7 days to establish a claim with the trucking/freight company.

- McCathay Timber reserves the right to require that freight on returns be prepaid.

Indemnification
The customer is responsible for all consequences of incorporation of our products into items or objects or for applications which you design, assemble, construct or manufacture where we have not substantially participated with you in the designing, assembling, construction or manufacturing such items, objects or applications.  The customer hereby indemnify us and hold us harmless from any and all claims for injuries, death or damages associated with such incorporations or use if such claims actually or allegedly arise from such design, assembly, construction or manufacture.
